Project Scope: An upgrade to Auckland’s Rosedale Waste Water Treatment Plant. Global Pipe supplied HOBAS CC-GRP Jacking to this project, with pipe specifications ranging from OD1280 PN1 SN32,000 Jacking Pipe and OD1499 SN32,000 HOBAS Jacking Pipe, for a total project pipeline of 1.1km. This project was supplied directly to the tunnelling contractor Abergeldie Harler. All pipe was delivered without any disruptions to the construction schedule.

Project Background: The Auckland Northern Corridor project (also known as the Northern Corridor Improvements (NCI) project) is a major road and infrastructure project connecting the North Shore to the Western Ring Route which directly impacts the Rosedale WWTP. The Rosedale WWTP is the second largest treatment works in the Auckland region and is among the largest in New Zealand, providing primary, secondary and advanced treatment of effluent for a population of approximately 185,000 people.
